Getting Ready for Takeoff! Welcome!

Welcome to Capital Hardwood!  We are so excited to be launching this business locally in Madison, Wisconsin and serving customers from around the country through e-commerce.

Capital Hardwood has been created to offer our local community access to quality domestic and exotic hardwoods, as well as quality sheet goods for the hobbyist, DIY, maker, and professional trade communities.

Our mission is to empower your craft with quality and cultivate a vibrant and welcoming woodworking community.

We are a small family owned business! Brett and Kaity are a husband and wife duo who you will work with directly. From time to time, you may have to deal with our 3 year old daughter or 1 year old son who will be wandering the retail floor or attempting to drive a fork-lift.

As we launch this business, we hope to earn your trust and even learn a thing or two from you along the way. Please never hesitate to reach out, stop by, or share an idea or product with us! This business is for you, by us. Cheers!
